Biosphere / AI connections

Connect your AI app

Connect a compatible AI app to your business records and propose changes for human review.

Connect with OAuth

  1. Sign in to Biosphere and open AI connectionsto copy the endpoint for your environment.
  2. Add that endpoint as a remote MCP connection in your AI app. Choose OAuth authentication, not a Biosphere password or API key.
  3. On the Biosphere consent screen, select your business and review the requested permissions. These can include reading records and preparing product edits, inventory counts, identity decisions or catalog merges. Authorize only an app you trust.
  4. Ask a question about that business. Check the returned records and source evidence before relying on the answer.

What the connection can do

Read permitted records, source documents, imports, catalog, stock, orders, parties, saved conversations and operational history. Available tools follow your current membership, enabled modules and consent.

With the corresponding proposal permissions, your AI app can prepare product edits, physical inventory counts, source identity decisions and catalog merges. The review card shows the exact change before you confirm or cancel it. Confirmation requires the same signed-in Biosphere account that requested the review. A saved proposal has not changed your records. The AI connection cannot approve its own proposals, submit orders, process payments, send messages or use platform staff access.

Confirm a change

Compatible MCP Apps hosts display the Biosphere review inside the conversation. Review the affected record, before and after values, and consequences, then choose Confirm changes or Cancel. If the host cannot display the card, open its Biosphere review link. Reviews expire after 15 minutes. Changed records or revoked access require a new review. Enter account credentials only in the Biosphere sign-in form, never in a chat message.

One environment and business at a time

Staging and production use different endpoints and grants. A token from one environment or business cannot be used for another. If you lose membership or revoke the connection, reconnecting requires a new authorization.

Disconnect

Open AI connections in Biosphere and revoke the connection. Remove it in the AI app as well. Revocation stops future access; it does not remove answers or records already shared with the app.

Availability

A custom MCP connection and a listing in an app directory are different. Directory availability depends on that provider’s approval and account features. Biosphere does not claim a listing before it is approved.

Read the connection privacy notice and connector terms, or visit support if authorization fails.
