Replay or reprocess a source
Run a source through Biosphere again without sending it again. Every option keeps the original and everything already decided or approved.
Replay retained records
Replay reads the kept original into a new processing run. Use it to start a fresh review of the same rows.
- Open the source in Inbox.
- Open Processing details.
- Select Replay retained records.
Nothing is uploaded, downloaded or read with OCR again; a document replays the details from its current extraction. The new run keeps the same source in From and goes through mapping and review like any arrival. Approving rows that were approved before matches the records they created, so unchanged values show as unchanged.
Switch between runs
When a source has more than one run, such as after a replay or for a Shopify download with several pages, a menu at the top of the review lists them: Run 1, Run 2 and so on, with their record counts. Choose a run to review it.
Under Processing details, Processing history lists every run with its status and record count.
Read a document again
To read every page of a PDF, image or document again, open Run OCR again on the source and select Start new extraction. This creates a new extraction version; earlier versions stay. To retry only the pages that failed, use the Retry failed pages button. See Import PDFs, images and documents.
Retry an upload that stopped
- On the upload line, select Retry when it’s offered.
- For a source that stays in Scanning, open it and select Retry file processing.
Download Shopify data again
On the Shopify page, select Sync now for recent changes, the Download all available data button for everything, or the Check for missing records button under Sync details. Each starts a new download, which appears as a new source in Inbox. To retry only the pages that failed, use the Inspect and retry the failed job link. See Connect a Shopify store.
Reopen a dismissed review
Open the source, enter a Review decision reason and select Reopen review. The same rows go back to review. Nothing is read again.
Send a corrected file
An original can’t be replaced. Upload the corrected file as a new arrival, with the same source, and dismiss the old review with a reason such as “Replaced by corrected price list”. Each upload is a separate source, even when the file is identical.
What Biosphere keeps
- The original file, email or Shopify page, unchanged and downloadable.
- Every run, extraction version, mapping version and decision, with who made it.
- Every record already approved. Replaying or reprocessing never undoes or deletes approved changes.
