Review changes prepared by an AI assistant
Scout and an explicitly permitted connected assistant can prepare product edits, physical stock counts, record matches and catalog merges. Preparing a change never applies it. A person must review and confirm it in Biosphere.
Review a product edit or count
- Open the review link returned by the assistant. In a supported external assistant it can appear as a review card.
- Sign in with the same Biosphere account that requested the change.
- Check the record, before and after values, reason and consequences. A count must be what someone physically observed, not the available stock figure.
- Select Confirm changes to apply it, or Cancel to close the review without applying it.
If the card cannot open or sign in, select Open in Biosphere to use the same review in a browser. Your Biosphere sign-in stays with Biosphere. Connected assistants do not receive your account password or session.
Recover an expired or stale review
The review shows when it expires. An expired, cancelled or stale review needs a new preparation from the assistant. Check the latest record before asking again. A review cannot be confirmed by another account, after access is revoked, or without the permissions required for its actual change.
The assistant can read whether its prepared change is pending, confirmed, cancelled or expired. Opening or refreshing a review never confirms it. After a lost response, check the saved result before preparing a different change.
Review a match or merge
Record matches and catalog merges also have their ordinary review screens in Inbox and the catalog. See Match imported records and Merge duplicate items for those steps.
What to know
- These four prepared changes do not grant unattended write access. Assistants cannot confirm their own requests, charge payments or execute orders.
- External connections need explicit proposal permissions; read-only consent remains read-only. Your current access is checked again at confirmation.
- Embedded review availability depends on the assistant host. Use the browser link when needed; a card being unavailable never bypasses confirmation.
