Keep a delivery worksheet updating

Connect a selected Google spreadsheet to retain recurring snapshots. Review its layout, source identity and mapping before allowing automatic record updates. If Google Sheets is not configured, ask an administrator to finish setup; existing records and retained evidence remain available.

Connect and review

  1. Open Google Sheets in Configure and start a connection.
  2. Complete Google consent and choose the intended spreadsheet and worksheet.
  3. Review the issuing source and check settings, then save.
  4. Use Check now, then View accepted evidence to inspect the worksheet.
  5. Use Set up layout to review headers, rows and stable text line IDs. Preview and apply the layout, map fields, then review and approve records through Inbox.

Connecting a sheet does not approve its business changes. Row positions and names do not establish record identity. Keep stable text IDs when rearranging or inserting rows.

Allow future updates

After manually applying the latest accepted snapshot, open Layout automation and review the layout to use on later checks. A changed header or conflicting source may hold an update for review. Use Check history and the related job to distinguish a retained snapshot from a change that reached business records.

An unchanged check or replay does not create another item. Missing rows do not delete existing items. Staff choices and pins remain in force until explicitly changed; a new source cannot take over just by reporting a higher revision.

Pause or recover

Use Manage checks to change the check policy or pause updates. Use Reconnect account or choose another file after lost access. Retained evidence can be replayed without contacting Google; replay does not establish a new source check.

Approved changes appear in the same order or Project live view on its next refresh. Refreshed reports the time saved records were read, not when all sources were checked. Embedded Google images are not acquired; earlier attached workbook photos remain available.

Worksheet names and account access

Renaming the selected tab keeps its saved layout because Biosphere follows the tab’s identity. Replacing it with another tab of the same name requires a new review. Header or column changes still need review. A layout without a stable tab selection must be reviewed again before recurring checks resume.

If Google access expires or is revoked, checks stop with a recovery status. Reconnect the account, choose the intended file and review the check settings; existing business records remain available. Administrators must finish hosted Google configuration and production consent settings before relying on unattended checks.
